Inner King Training

August 22-25 (Friday - Monday), 2003. Outside of Chicago, IL.

In 1989, New Warrior Training founder Bill Kauth had the idea of creating a training that would initiate men into the King archetype, with the same intensity and effectiveness that the New Warrior Training initiated men into the archetype of the Warrior.

From this desire Bill created a collaboration with Cliff Barry and Tom Daly, two highly respected and innovative leaders, and from that came the Inner King Training. First offered to the New Warrior Community in 1993, the Inner King Training has initiated almost 400 men in 24 separate trainings, all over the United States.

The Inner King Training is a highly facilitated and structured four-day experience of initiation into your King Archetype through:

- The Power of the Shadow. At the Inner King Training you will discover how use the energy in your shadow to give you wisdom and to energize every area of your life. You'll discover how to safely get the "juice" out of your shadow to motivate you in having the life you want.

- The Power of True Blessing. For most of us, our blessing energy is tainted with judgment, condition, advice, or trying to look good. At the Inner King Training you will have the time and the facilitation to really dig in to discovering what your true blessing is for yourself, your family, your life, and your world.

- Discovering How to Choose how You Love. We all carry our wounds as ways of loving, connecting with, or trying to fix people from our past. We have a hard time letting go of these wounds because doing so would seem like we weren't loving. You will leave the Inner King Training knowing how to love people without carrying their pain.

- The Power of Death. Death is one of the biggest events in a person's life, but we rarely have time to think about it and never get to practice dying. At the Inner King Training you will confront the fact of your own death in a thorough, ritual fashion, and leave the training free to live your life with the blessings of death at your service.

- The power of Kingly Community. Imagine having a breakthrough that would allow you to accept support into your life on a whole new level, in a whole new way. Through Kingly Courts and Kingly Community, you'll find new openings for support and effectiveness in your life.

- The Power of Time. The Inner King Training is four days of experiential initiation into the King Archetype. Such a complete and personal training is not available anywhere else.

Workshop Leaders

David Kaar (February '88). One of the founding members of the New Warrior Board in 1989 (along with Bill Kauth, Rich Tosi, and Ron Hering), and certified as a full leader in 1993, David has held many positions with the ManKind Project. He has been chairman of the Leader Certification Team, secretary of the MKP, Shadow Chair and, most recently, Chairman of the ManKind Project International. As a leader-trainer he facilitates LT1, LT2, Co-Leader trainings, carpet work facilitation trainings, and New Warrior Weekends.

Dmitri Bilgere (August '88). Originally trained by Ron Hering and Cliff Barry, Dmitri is one of the original four founding Shadow Work facilitators. He has been leading Carpet work facilitation trainings (of up to a week in length) and Shadow Work Seminars since 1991, all over the US, in Canada, England, and South Africa. Dmitri has co-lead the Inner King Training 22 times, is a New Warrior Weekend senior staffer, and has taught facilitation to the New Warrior Leader Body.

David and Dmitri will be assisted by graduates from previous Inner King Trainings.
